I have always been possessed by a need to learn and to create. As a child, that need presented itself in the clothes, blankets, and furniture I made for my dolls. As a teen, I created scrapbooks and sewed prom dresses. Through college, that need manifested itself in crotcheting, knitting, and quilting. I started this blog in 2010 as my creative outlet while teaching high school. I took a break from blogging when I became pregnant with my son. Since then I have become a sewing educator, started writing patterns, and continued to create. I'm back to share my creative journey with you. I hope you enjoy the ride!
